How do I install and use my OneSync Landscape Hardwired Lantern?

The OneSync hardwire lantern is an excellent way to expand your OneSync Landscape ecosystem. The installation process is straightforward and can be done in just a few moments. Here is a step-by-step guide to installing and using the OneSync hardwire lantern:

Installation

Step 1: Turn off the power at the breaker.
Step 2: Pull the wires out of your junction box and through the center of the mounting bracket.
Step 3: Using a screwdriver, attach the mounting plate to the junction box with the provided screws. Make sure that your bracket is level.
Step 4: Once secure, identify your line, neutral, and ground wires. If you are unsure how to do this, please consult a qualified electrician.
Step 5: Take the line wire and attach it to the “L” quick connect on the right and tighten with a flathead screwdriver.
Step 6: Repeat this process for the ground and neutral wires.
Step 7: To install the fixture, align the screws on the mounting plate along with the quick connect pins to the top holes on the terminal block.
Step 8: Then, gently push the fixture onto the mounting plate ensuring the threaded screws are sticking out of the front of the fixture.
Step 9: Secure the fixture to the mounting plate with the rubber washers and decorative nuts.
Step 10: Flip your breaker to test the power to your fixture.
Step 11: Finally, caulk the space between the fixture and the wall to prevent moisture from getting inside the lantern.

Usage & Tips

• You can turn your lantern on and off with a wall switch or by pressing the button on the bottom of the fixture.
• Select between different colors or 5 shades of white.
• If you want to use the dusk to dawn feature, remove the cap that covers the dusk to dawn sensor at the top of the lantern.
  Tip: Please turn off the power at the breaker before starting the installation process. Ensure that the bracket is level, and wires are connected correctly. Caulk the space between the fixture and the wall to prevent moisture from getting inside the lantern.

Note: The OneSync Landscape products, which are designed for outdoor use, are not compatible with our indoor OneSync Undercabinet Lights.
