How Do I Pair the Remote to the Smart White Filament String Light?

I need additional help with pairing my remote to the smart white filament string light.

Follow these steps to pair your Feit Electric smart string lights with the remote control:

1. Pairing the Smart String Lights:
   Begin by opening the Feit Electric app on your smartphone. Follow the standard procedure to pair the smart string lights with the app. Ensure the lights are connected properly before proceeding to the next step.

2. Updating the Firmware:
   Once the smart string lights are paired, a prompt will appear on your screen asking you to update the firmware. Tap the Update button and wait for the update process to complete. This may take a few minutes, so be patient and ensure your device remains connected during the update.

3. Power Cycling the Lights:
   After the firmware update is successfully installed, turn the smart string lights off and then back on. This power cycle ensures that the firmware update takes full effect.

4. Pairing the Remote Control:
   Press and hold the ON/OFF button on the remote control until the string lights flash twice. The two flashes confirm that the remote has been successfully paired with the string lights.

5. Disconnecting from the App:
