How to Connect your Smart Device to your Alexa OR Google Assistant

I need steps on how to link the Feit Electric app to Alexa and Google Assistant.

Now that you have successfully connected your Smart Device to the Feit Electric App, you now have the option to link your Feit Electric Smart Device to your Alexa or Google Assistant through our App Flip Feature. This feature allows you to link your Alexa to your Smart Device, and all other future Smart Devices, while providing you a one-stop-shop for all of your device settings and needs.

Sure, you can use your Alexa or Google Assistant Apps to set up your newest Feit Smart Devices, but by using the Feit Electric App Flip Feature, your new Smart Device will automatically be added and synced with no additional set up. This means no more jumbling between apps, connect all of your Smart Devices to Alexa or Google Assistant and enable voice controls all in one space!

So, how do you go about setting up the Feit Electric App Flip Feature? It's easy, all you have to do is follow these four simple steps below, and you will be on your way to getting the most out of your Feit Smart Devices. However, it is important to note that you need an Amazon or Google account, as well as an Alexa or Google Assistant in order use this feature. Let's get started!

Step 1 - Open your Feit App and Go to your Profile Settings

Open your Feit Electric app and tap the Profile tab at the bottom right corner. Then, tap Use Alexa and Google Assistant to start syncing your Alexa or Google Assistant to your Feit Electric App.

Step 2 - Select Alexa OR Google Assistant

Your Feit App will then prompt you to select either Alexa OR Google Assistant. Tap Amazon Alexa OR Google Assistant to continue syncing.

Step 3 - Sign into your Amazon OR Google Account

If you have an Alexa, tap Sign In With Amazon and enter your username and password to continue. If you have a Google Assistant, tap Re-login in the upper right hand corner of your screen to continue.

Step 4 - Link your Accounts 

Once you have signed into your Amazon or Google account, all you have left to do is sync your account. If you have an Alexa, tap Link to complete the linking process. If you have a Google Assistant, tap Agree and link to complete the setup process.

Note: Any additional devices that are added to the Feit Electric App will be automatically synced with your Alexa and or Google Assistant!

Step 5 - Optimize your Feit Smart Device Experience

Start using Google or Alexa voice controls immediately! Try saying something like "Hey google, turn my Smart Wi-Fi Bulb on!" or "Alexa, change the Smart Strip Lights to red." Customize your device names in the device settings to create your own experience.
