What if my OneSync products are not syncing?
All OneSync products are pre-synced right out of the box. If for some reason your device(s) are not responding to the remote or product control presses, simply desync the device and then
resync it once again. Also, If you plan on hardwiring your OneSync devices, test the devices to
ensure they are indeed paired before installing. If the devices are not responding, pair the devices to the remote first before you hardwire them. Not all of our OneSync Undercabinet Lights come with the 6ft AC power Plug-In cord. You could always purchase that product separately in stores.
I'm using a plug outlet to power my OneSync lights, what's next?
- First, remove the plastic tag and check to be sure the batteries are installed properly.
- Disconnect any fixture you want to pair from power by unplugging it from the wall outlet.
- Hold the remote in your hand and locate the Dim button.
- Restore power to the fixture, and within 5 seconds begin to hold the Dim button down for 3 seconds.
- The lights on the fixture will blink 3 times if the remote has successfully paired. And you will be able to turn the lights on/off, dim, and choose your favorite shade of white light using the remote control. If you are not successful, disconnect the fixture from power and press and hold the Dim button again.
Note: This information could also be found in the instruction manual .
I've hardwired my OneSync lights already and can't control them
If your lights are already hardwired, you'll need a second person to assist you with the below steps. One person would need to be at the breaker switch, while the other is at the OneSync remote/devices.
Unpair
- Have the person at the breaker shut off power for a few seconds. (You'll only have a few seconds after the power is restored to then hold the ON/OFF button on the remote for 3 seconds to unpair it.)
- Restore power and hold the ON/OFF button on the remote for 3 seconds to unpair it.
- Lights will blink once the unit(s) are unpaired. (This can be done with multiple fixtures at once).
- If the lights do not blink, repeat the above steps.
Pair
- Have the person at the breaker shut off power for a few seconds and then back on again.
- Once the power is restored, hold the Dim button on the remote for 3 seconds.
- Lights will blink once the unit(s) are paired. (This can be done with multiple fixtures at once).
- If the lights do not blink, repeat the above steps.
