What are some freqently asked questions regarding the new Feit Electric LED Skylights?

Q: Will Skylights help with Season Affective Disorder?
A: No – Our Skylights are not medical grade SAD therapy lamps. Though not a replacement for a SAD lamp, it will transform a dark room into bright, energizing, and brighter environment.

Q: Are Skylights able to select Color Temperatures?
A: Yes – but ONLY on the "White" setting. The main skylight setting is set to the specific Color temperature.

Q: Are the Skylights able to be mounted on the wall vs. ceiling?
A: Our canless install can be wall mounted, but NOT the flush mount install.

Q: What’s the warranty on the Skylights?
A: All Skylights have a 3 year warranty.

Q: Do the LED Skylights have a memory feature? Will they remember the last mode used?
A: The LED Skylights don’t have a memory function. If the light has been turned off for more than 10 seconds, it will reset to the default Skylight (Energizing) mode. You'll need to cycle through the three available modes to return to your preferred setting each time you turn it back on.

Q: Can I dim the LED Skylights?
A: Yes! You can use a standard TRIAC dimmer to adjust the brightness. Just keep in mind, our skylights aren’t compatible with smart dimmers.
Note: Our Vista 2 ft. x 2 ft. Flush Mount or Troffer Skylight Ceiling Light (Model #TR2X2/SKY/5CCT/WH) is dimmable for commercial use ONLY.

Q: Does Feit Electric offer a drop ceiling frame for these skylights?
A: Soon! We’re currently working on one, but there’s no confirmed release date just yet.
